I watch Dovebid for high tech stuff and tool room equipment. Lately, used equipment is way down.
Coming up are the year end sales. I will guess that even the brokers will want to unload their inventories.
It's sad when rigging and shipping is higher than the winning bid.
Earlier this year, I saw powered rolling mills go through the auctions. If they weren't so big, I'd have bought one!
The jewelry is gone before I have a chance to "photograsp" it.
I have a tiger iron pendant coming up, a polycarbonate cross pendant I need to photograph, and a few other projects I need to move on.
I'm collecting wierd tech scrap stuff that changes color depending on how you look at it (interference lithography and semiconductor oxides or nitrides)...I have extra.
